What is RU-58841? RU-58841 (also known as PSK-3841 / HMR-3841) is a nonsteroidal androgen-receptor (AR) antagonist frequently used in laboratory studies of AR signaling and androgen-responsive skin/hair models. It was explored clinically in the 1990s–2000s as a topically active antiandrogen, but no FDA-approved product resulted and development was not continued after Phase II evaluations.
